This morning the WordPress team released an important security notice affecting all previous versions of WordPress and encouraging users to update their sites immediately.
Ensure you keep your WordPress website up to date via it’s own automatic updates or via a hosting package such as Plesk.
Updates can be important to ensure your website is as secure as possible. And don’t forget to check any themes or plug-ins for updates too; as older versions of those extra bits can cause security holes too.
FYI, latest version of WordPress is currently v4.2.4
