**Please note – Sage have now issued Service Pack 1 – see our post from February 2013**
Sage 50 Accounts 2014 Update 3 is now available to download.
Please make sure that ALL Sage programs and Microsoft Excel are closed prior to downloading and installing this update. If you do not close all programs and run the installation routine then you may get trapped in a Sage update loop – please read our previous post on our original blog Sage 50 Accounts 2012 – Update 3 which explains how to resolve the issue.
An update loop is where Sage thinks you have an update to install, but when you try and install the update the system thinks the system is up to date and won’t allow you to download anything.,You are not able to open the program or use the automatic update feature. If you follow the instructions in the linked post above but still can’t get your Sage to update then Silicon Bullet can offer you remote support, just give us a call.
Update 3 contains improvements and fixes which are for users of Sage Pay integrated into their Sage 50 Accounts package. For full details see this Sage Support article.

If you run a multi user system then the update will need to be done on all the machines on your system , and your version number should change your Accounts version number from 20.02.09.345 to 20.03.09.355. If you are not already on 20.02.09.345 then there are earlier updates which you should have already downloaded and we recommend you check for these on the Sage Accounts downloads and updates page prior to downloading Update 3.
Peach tree no longer supports version 14
So how can get the upgrade from version 14 to version 14 service pack 1 ? ?
Hi Ervin, thanks for your query. Unfortunately we are a UK based Sage Partner, so we will be unable to assist you, so I would recommend you make your enquiry to a local Sage reseller.
I note the following versions are no longer support by Sage itself: Sage 50 – US Edition retirements
