An update has been released for WordPress 3.8 to take it to 3.8.1 (released Jan 23rd 2014).
The new automatic update feature released in 3.7 means that almost all websites taking advantage of this feature are now enjoying timely updates – which is good for those wanting to keep on top of security and bugs. Of course, you may still need to check for additional updates to any plugins and themes used – but it has got to be a step in the right direction to ensure better website security when using the much loved WordPress platform.
